About Me
Hi, I'm Mark, a freelance Design Lead and Senior Designer based in Rotterdam with over 13 years of experience. I work across digital design, design systems and brand expression, helping teams create products and experiences that feel clear, consistent and well considered. I'm currently working with Heineken, and have also worked with brands like KLM, adidas, Philips, Odido, the Anne Frank House and the Port of Rotterdam.
With a healthy obsession for motion design, typography and branding, I care deeply about the details that shape strong digital work. Alongside client projects, I spend a lot of time exploring AI tools and creative workflows, from building native iOS concepts and my own invoicing tool with Claude Code to experimenting with generative tools like Weavy, Nano Banana and Kling.
